I never owned LinP3, as I was only the Administrator. The late Don Herrington owned LinP3 and then Yahoo discontinued ALL their Yahoo Groups. No more LinP3.
Thanks for stopping by and reading my post!

Hey, wife pointed me in the direction of your blog. Great! We are planning our eventual retirement there, having already bought property in Talisay (Ayala Northpoint area) and are looking at a few more years before we move and build there.
And being a cook, I’m anxious to learn the ins and outs of foods, availability, and how I’ll have to adapt.
Hey Chef,
Thanks for liking my blog. We know Ayala Northpoint well and a new Ayala Mall just opened up in that very area this month.
The Bacolod Area is a Foodie Mecca! There is so much more available here than only Filipino Food. There are chefs from Spain, Italy, and other European nations who own restaurants in our area. Bacolod Culinary Arts Academy is owned and operated by 3 European Chefs.
I think you chose a good area of the Philippines!
Have a great day!

Really like your site, very informative..question for you..where did you find the corn meal? I’ve looked all over Bacolod!!
Hi Steve,
Thank you much for you compliments. We buy corn at Libertad Market and the grinder will turn it into corn meal.
Have a great day!

Hi there! HOpefully Ill be in Bacolod this Oct. 14. Any idea how much is taxi fare from airport to the city? Thanks
Hi Elmer,
The taxi fare from the Bacolod-Silay Airport to Bacolod City is about P500. There
are shuttle vans at the airport and they are cheaper but you may have to wait until the van has enough passengers before they actually depart the airport to Bacolod City. Especially when several flights are due to land within the same hour on the clock.
Have a great day!

Hi,
I have a friend who is in Bacolod for a few days. He’s looking for a nice apartment or house (2-3 bedrooms) that has at least one bedroom on the ground floor.
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks so much!
Anupam
Hi Anupam,
I suggest having your friend contact Mr Johnny Pane, who has most all current rental listings in Bacolod City. His cell phone contact number is 0928-428-3028
He has helped several of my friends find the type of rental they wanted within their budget.
Happy House Hunting to your friend!

Gary,
We arrived Dec 22, 2015. Loving it already…
So far the only thing missing is “good” Mexican food. I hail from San Diego CA.
In any case, hope we can get together sometime just to say Hello.
